This project arises from the detection of technological limitations in the field of mechanical sweepers. These systems present a series of adverse elements that make the work of both the driver and the machinery difficult. For example, these deficiencies cause the suction mouth and the sweeper itself to suffer serious and costly damage caused by collisions with other elements such as curbs.
At Sacyr we have developed a functional prototype based on the design of a package of innovative solutions made up of three main elements: hardware, mechanical system and specific and transversal control software. This prototype, adapted to the sweepers, achieves the automation of the suction, improving efficiency and precision and increasing worker safety.
